Tennessee Considering Requiring Watermarks on Absentee Ballots, Regulate Outside Funding for Election Officials

Both of these measures should be unobjectionable common sense moves to improve election integrity, but I’m sure that Democrats will look for a judge somewhere to declare them to be racist: General Assembly Considering ‘Tennessee Election Integrity Act’ to Regulate Outside Funding for Election Officials, Require Official Watermarking for Absentee Ballots.

Trump Opens ‘Office of the Former President’

In the latest sign the former President Trump has no intention of disappearing from the political arena, he released a statement today announcing the creation of the ‘Office of the Former President.’ Instead of retiring to write his memoirs, the statement indicates that President Trump intends to remain fully engaged in the American political process.

The statement reads in part:

The Office will be responsible for managing President Trump’s correspondence, public statements, appearances, and official activities to advance the interests of the United States and to carry on the agenda of the Trump Administration through advocacy, organizing, and public activism.

This move is a direct challenge to Joe Biden’s ability to control the country’s political dialogue. It is also a challenge to the never-Trump Republicans who hope to purge Trump’s influence from the GOP. They know that Trump maintains the loyalty of 75 million American voters and has the potential of overshadowing the weak and feeble-minded Joe Biden. This fear of Trump’s political prowess fully explains the desperate push for an unconstitutional show trial of now citizen Trump in the US Senate.

P.S., I would have preferred the title ‘Office of the Once and Future President.’
